Tamobila vs Yarent (2026): Morocco's two most complete options
Yarent is the most complete fixed-fee ERP in Morocco. Tamobila matches the feature set, adds an AI WhatsApp agent, and charges 0 + 0.5% of revenue.
Yarent is the most feature-complete fixed-fee car-rental ERP on the Moroccan market — phone signature, OCR, GPS with remote engine cut-off, accounting export with TVA, FR/AR/EN/ES UI, integrated B2C booking site. We don't pretend they're a thin competitor; they're the real deal, and the tool we measure ourselves against. The difference isn't the feature list any more — we ship all of that too, plus an AI WhatsApp agent they don't. It's who charges you a fixed monthly fee whether your cars move or not. Yarent does. We don't — 0 up front, then 0.5% of what you actually collect.
Honest comparison, written for an agency on Yarent's shortlist.

Where Yarent is strong
Credit where it's due: Yarent is the most feature-complete fixed-fee ERP in Morocco, and for a while it was the only tool shipping remote engine cut-off, TVA-formatted accounting export and a B2C booking site. Those three were a genuine, earned lead — and they're matched now: Tamobila ships remote engine cut with its GPS tracker on any plan, a TVA accounting export in CGNC, Sage and Ciel formats, and an online booking site for every agency, free Starter included.
The trade-offs sit in the pricing shape, not the features. GPS, geofence and engine cut-off are gated to their Enterprise tier — no tracking on the cheap plans. The blacklist is single-agency, so a renter who burned the shop down the street is invisible to you. And the bill is fixed and tier-stepped: 399 MAD at the 35-car cap, 599 MAD at the 60-car cap — roughly double our flat Enterprise plan, and payable every month, full season or dead August. Because the tiers are vehicle-cap, an 8-car agency on a 15-cap tier pays for 15 cars it doesn't have.
Where we're different
Three big differences:
- 0 up front, 0.5% of revenue — no vehicle-cap tiers. A 35-car agency on Yarent pays 399 MAD in January and 399 MAD in a rained-out off-season month all the same. The same agency on Tamobila Starter pays 0.5% of whatever it earned — and nothing at all in a dead month. The math only favours a fixed tier once you're large and steady; that's when you switch to Enterprise at a flat 999 MAD, no revenue share, and cap it. Cheapest at the bottom, capped at the top. (Why we take 0.5% of your revenue)
- GPS for everyone, and a blacklist that crosses agencies. Tracking, geofence and OBD ship on every Tamobila plan, including the free Starter — not locked behind a top tier the way Yarent locks them. And our cross-agency blacklist flags a customer refused at another agency in the network, where Yarent's stops at your own door.
- The feature gaps are closed — and a new one is ours. Remote engine cut-off ships with our GPS tracker on any plan (Yarent gates it to Enterprise), the TVA accounting export is live in CGNC, Sage and Ciel formats, and every agency gets its own online booking site on the free Starter plan, where Yarent reserves theirs for the Business tier. On languages we've passed them (4 → 8), the blacklist crosses agencies where theirs stops at your door — and the AI agent that answers your WhatsApp, quotes availability and takes bookings 24/7 has no Yarent equivalent at all.
The price, side by side
| Plan | Tamobila | Yarent equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 0 MAD + 0.5% of CA | 89 MAD/mo (Mini, cap 5) |
| Enterprise | 999 MAD flat, no revenue share | 399 MAD/mo (cap 35) |
| (large fleet) | 999 flat, capped | 599 MAD/mo (Business, cap 60) |
| Scale | On request | Quote (Enterprise, ∞) |
Read it where it bites. At the Mini tier (89 MAD, 5 cars) Yarent is genuinely cheap. At 399 and 599 MAD they're expensive and fixed — and that's exactly the range where 0 up front + 0.5% of CA pulls ahead for any agency that isn't pinning a tier to its cap month after month. The only add-on is hardware: the GPS tracker at 40 MAD/mo per vehicle — live map, geofence, remote engine cut included.
Who Yarent is right for — honestly
An established agency that's already running on Yarent, has its team trained there, and fills its tier's cap month after month so the fixed fee earns its keep. They've built a deep operational ERP and earned their position — if the bill matches your volume and a single-agency blacklist doesn't worry you, there's no urgent reason to move.
Who we're right for
Almost every other case on Yarent's shortlist: the same workflow — photos, OCR, signature, GPS with remote engine cut, TVA accounting export, your own booking site, per-car analytics — plus the cross-agency blacklist and the AI WhatsApp agent they don't ship, without paying a fixed per-agency tier rain or shine, or buying a 60-car cap to run 22 cars. Start free, pay 0.5% of what you earn, cap it at a flat 999 MAD the day you're big enough to want a ceiling.
