Tamobila vs Geniparc (2026): monthly vs annual billing compared

Geniparc is a Moroccan car-rental tool that bills annually, up front — from 3 500 MAD/year — and ships a native iOS + Android app. The app is real, and they were one of the first Moroccan options to ship one. So are we: Tamobila ships a native operator app too, so that's parity, not their edge. The difference is the bill. We charge 0 MAD up front and take 0.5% of your rental revenue, billed monthly — no annual prepay, no lock-in, nothing owed in a month you don't rent.

Side by side, written for an agency choosing between the two.

Geniparc prices are annual HT at the time of writing (June 2026). The monthly equivalent assumes flat 12-month billing.

Where Geniparc is strong

The native app is genuine. Counter staff live on their phones, and native beats responsive-web on camera latency, push notifications and offline drafts — Geniparc understood that early. We ship the same shape, with the full management surface (pickup, return, photos, signature, document scan, contracts, customer file, notifications) inside it, so on this point we're matched.

Their emphasis is the long-form back office: maintenance scheduling and the per-invoice outstanding (encours) screens are well-built, and annual billing on a yearly cycle is something some owners genuinely prefer for their accounting.

Where it gets thin: no signature on the phone, no OCR, no guided photo inspection, no WhatsApp, French-only UI, no cross-agency blacklist. And one thing worth pausing on — all three tiers (Standard, Pro, VIP) ship identical features. Only the price changes. There's no feature reason to pay 7 500 instead of 3 500, so ask exactly what the extra 4 000 MAD/year buys you before you sign. Annual billing also locks you in for a year up front.

Where we're different

Three choices:

  1. 0 up front, 0.5% of revenue, billed monthly. Geniparc asks for a full year's fee before you've rented a single car. We ask for nothing up front and take 0.5% of what you actually earn, month by month — a dead month costs you zero, and you're never locked in. When you're large enough that a percentage stings, switch to Enterprise — 999 MAD/mo flat, no revenue share, up to 50 cars / 1 000 bookings, dedicated manager — still billed monthly, cancel anytime. (Why we take 0.5% of your revenue)
  2. Every feature on every plan. Phone signature, 8-photo inspection (here), licence OCR, WhatsApp confirmations, the AI agent that answers your WhatsApp and takes bookings, your own online booking site, cross-agency blacklist, GPS / geofence / OBD, seasonal pricing, multi-branch, forecast & ROI, the 8-language UI (FR, AR, EN, ES, DE, IT, PT, NL) — all on the free Starter plan. There is no "Pro adds analytics." One feature set, three ways to pay for it.
  3. Forecast & ROI per car, not "revenue stats" — utilisation per car, RevPAD, cost per kilometre, per-car lifetime curve.

Both of us ship a native operator app — that's parity, not a Geniparc advantage.

The price, side by side

Plan Tamobila Geniparc equivalent
Starter 0 MAD + 0.5% of CA, monthly 3 500 MAD/yr (Standard, ~292/mo)
Enterprise 999 MAD/mo flat 5 000 MAD/yr (Pro, ~417/mo)
Scale On request 7 500 MAD/yr (VIP, ~625/mo)

All three Geniparc figures are fixed and paid up front, identical in features, and owed every month whether you rent or not — as a lump sum a year ahead. Our Starter costs nothing in a slow month and never locks you in; even our flat Enterprise option is 999 MAD/mo billed monthly, cancel anytime. The contrast isn't really which number is smaller — it's that one of us asks you to pay for a year before you've earned, and the other doesn't. The only add-on is hardware: the GPS tracker at 40 MAD/mo per vehicle — live map, geofence, remote engine cut included.

Who Geniparc is right for — honestly

A single-branch agency that prefers to settle software once a year, trains its staff on the Geniparc app, runs the counter in French, and doesn't need the photo / OCR / signature / WhatsApp layer. If the annual commitment suits your accounting and the customer-facing workflow isn't a priority, it's a workable tool. The year-up-front commitment is the trade-off you're accepting.

Who we're right for

Almost every other agency: guided photos, OCR, signature, WhatsApp, cross-agency blacklist, analytics, 8-language UI — all monthly, none of it locked in, nothing paid before you've earned it. Start on Starter for 0 MAD and 0.5% of revenue; switch to Enterprise's flat 999 the day capping the percentage makes you money. Both of us ship a native app, so put them side by side and judge the rest. We migrate the first 50 contracts for free.

The cars do the talking. The pricing page just has to get out of the way.
