GoCar.ma is a Moroccan car-rental tool whose pitch is online booking with CMI + PayPal acceptance and a clean interface. We do the booking too — and the photo trail, the licence OCR, the cross-agency blacklist, the 8-language UI (FR, AR, EN, ES, DE, IT, PT, NL), and the forecast layer that decide the deposits and the Monday-morning numbers. And where they charge an agency fee you only learn after a sales call, we charge 0 up front and 0.5% of what you actually collect.

GoCar.ma doesn't publish a price page — pricing routes via a reseller cart. Treat the comparison's pricing row as "unknown" and ask them directly. Ours is on the website, and it starts at zero.

Where GoCar.ma is strong

The consumer-facing payment story. CMI is real, PayPal is real. For a single-agency owner whose biggest unsolved problem is "tourists can't prepay online by card before they land," GoCar.ma solves that today and we don't yet — your Tamobila booking site takes the reservation, the dates and the customer's documents, but online card prepayment is still on our roadmap. If foreign-card prepayment is your one bottleneck, that's a real reason to look at them.

Beyond that, the product is thin: no signature flow advertised, no OCR, no guided photo inspection, no GPS, no analytics, French only at the counter, no public pricing. The support model is WhatsApp messages and a weekly Google Meet training session.

Where we're different

Three deliberate choices:

  1. The whole workflow ships, storefront included. Phone-signed contracts, 8-photo inspection, licence OCR, document watchdog, cross-agency blacklist, GPS, geofence, seasonal pricing, promo codes, WhatsApp confirmations, an AI agent that answers and books on WhatsApp — and your own online booking site, where customers pick a car, choose dates and upload their documents. The features that win deposits and reduce no-shows are in the box from day one, on every plan. The one piece still on the roadmap is online card prepayment.
  2. 0 up front, 0.5% of CA — public, on the website. No reseller cart, no quote-only. Starter costs nothing a month; the platform takes half of one percent of the rental revenue you actually collect, billed at month close. Rent nothing in a slow February, pay nothing. It's the only shared-risk price in Morocco — and the cheapest entry for any agency that isn't already huge. (Why we take 0.5% of your revenue)
  3. Eight languages out of the box (FR, AR, EN, ES, DE, IT, PT, NL — community-extendable), where GoCar ships French only.

The only add-on is hardware: a connected GPS tracker at 40 MAD/mo per vehicle — live map, geofence, remote engine cut included. Half a percent is cheap until you're large — the day 0.5% of your CA would top 999 MAD, you switch to Enterprise and cap it: flat 999 MAD a month, no revenue share, dedicated manager.

Who GoCar.ma is right for — honestly

A single-agency owner whose top problem is online prepayment from foreign cards and who's willing to handle photos, contracts, blacklist and analytics outside the software. The CMI + PayPal integration is real value if that's your bottleneck today — and the one thing here we don't yet match.

Who we're right for

Almost every other case: agencies that lose deposits to undocumented damage, agencies that get burnt by the same bad customer twice, agencies that want Monday-morning numbers without rebuilding them in Excel, agencies that need Arabic at the counter. At a public price that costs nothing in a dead month and 0.5% in a good one.
