The best car rental software in Morocco (2026): an honest buyer's guide
Every car rental software sold in Morocco in 2026 — public prices, standout features, who each one fits — compared honestly by the newest vendor on the list.
First, the disclaimer you should demand from any page with this title: we build Tamobila, one of the tools below. So this isn't a neutral review — it's the map we wish had existed when we entered the market, with every competitor's real strengths stated and a deep-dive comparison linked for each. Read the deep dives; they're written to be quoted against us.
Every option at a glance (June 2026)
| Tool | Public entry price | What it's known for | Deep dive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tamobila | 0 MAD + 0.5% of revenue | Every feature on the free plan; AI WhatsApp agent; only pay on what you rent | Pricing explained |
| Yarent | 89 MAD/mo (5-car cap) | The most complete fixed-fee ERP — engine cut-off, TVA export, booking site | Tamobila vs Yarent |
| Genicars | 99 MAD/mo (10-car cap) | Cheapest published price; reservation basics done simply | Tamobila vs Genicars |
| AutoJahiz | 100 MAD/mo (10-car cap) | Deepest maintenance back office — sinistres, alerts, parts stock | Tamobila vs AutoJahiz |
| LocApp | ~200 MAD/mo | The cleanest UI of the local options; fast phone-signature flow | Tamobila vs LocApp |
| CRSapp | ~250 MAD/mo, on quote | The longest-running option; digitises a classic paper workflow | Tamobila vs CRSapp |
| Maroc Rent Solutions | ~300 MAD/mo (stacked fees) | Closest on features — bilingual UI, photos, OCR | Tamobila vs MRS |
| Geniparc | 3 500 MAD/yr, prepaid | Native mobile app; annual billing some owners prefer | Tamobila vs Geniparc |
| GoCar.ma | Quote only | CMI + PayPal online prepayment for tourist bookings | Tamobila vs GoCar.ma |
| Loc.ma | Unknown | A premium domain; no public product or pricing | Tamobila vs Loc.ma |
Prices are each vendor's public positioning at the time of writing (June 2026); quote-only vendors can tell you anything, so always ask for the full invoice in writing — per agency, per car, per user, add-ons included.
How to actually choose
Eight questions separate these tools faster than any feature matrix:
- What happens in a dead month? A fixed fee bills you anyway. A revenue share bills you nothing. An annual prepay billed you months ago.
- Does the contract get signed on the phone? If the counter still prints, you bought a calendar, not software.
- What's the deposit-dispute story? Guided photo inspection at pickup and return, time-stamped and attached to the contract — or "remember to take photos." (Why this decides disputes)
- Who answers WhatsApp at 23:40? For most tools the answer is "nobody." For some it's a notification template. For Tamobila it's an AI agent that quotes availability and takes the booking. (How that works)
- Does the blacklist cross agencies? A single-agency blacklist can't warn you about the customer who burnt the shop across town last week. (The 5-question screen)
- Can your customers book online? A booking site with real availability, or a contact form.
- Do you get owner numbers without Excel? Utilisation per car, RevPAD, cost per kilometre — shipped, or export-and-rebuild. (The Monday-morning KPIs)
- What languages does the counter get? French-only is a real constraint the day you hire Arabic-first staff or rent to a German tourist.
The price shapes, explained
Moroccan car-rental software is sold in four shapes, and the shape matters more than the number:
- Fixed monthly tiers with vehicle caps (Yarent, Genicars, AutoJahiz, LocApp, CRSapp). Predictable, but you pay the same in a dead February as in peak August — and you often pay for a 35-car cap to run 22 cars.
- Stacked fees (Maroc Rent Solutions): a per-agency base plus a per-car line, both fixed, both due before a single rental.
- Annual prepay (Geniparc): a year's fee up front, locked in before the software has earned a dirham.
- Revenue share (Tamobila): 0 MAD up front, 0.5% of the rental revenue you actually collect, billed at month close. A 60 000 MAD month costs 300 MAD; a dead month costs nothing. Past ~200 000 MAD/month of CA, you cap it with a flat 999 MAD Enterprise plan. (The full pricing logic)
Only one of these shapes shares the risk of a bad season with you. We built it that way on purpose — we're the newest name on this list, and taking the financial risk off your side of the table is how a newcomer earns trust.
Our honest recommendation, by situation
- You run ~100 cars with in-house mechanics and a parts inventory: look hard at AutoJahiz — the parts-stock depth is real and the price at scale is hard to beat.
- Your single bottleneck is tourists prepaying by foreign card: GoCar.ma ships CMI + PayPal today; we don't yet.
- You're already live on Yarent or MRS, trained and content: switching has a real cost — read the Yarent and MRS comparisons before paying it.
- You want the lowest possible fixed number and just a reservation calendar: Genicars at 99 MAD is honest about what it is.
- Everyone else — from a 3-car start-up to a multi-branch agency that's tired of paying rain or shine: start on Tamobila Starter. 0 MAD a month, unlimited cars and bookings, every feature on — signature, 8-photo inspection, AI document scan, the WhatsApp agent, your own booking site, GPS with remote engine cut, cross-agency blacklist, TVA accounting export, per-car analytics, 8 languages. You pay 0.5% of what you rent, and nothing in a month you don't.
No card, no time limit, and we migrate your first 50 contracts for free. Run one real rental through it this week and judge on the data.
The cars do the talking.
